B.A in Event Management is a three-year graduate program. The program has been designed to provide students with competencies in designing, planning and executing events of all levels be it celebrities, business or state level.
Event management borrows theories and practical knowledge from similar disciplines such as innovation management, project management, marketing, and public relations. Subjects included in the events management innovation for events, advertising and promotion, effective messaging, and event business.
Event Management as a career field requires aspirants to conceptualize, plan and organise an event which can be a political rally, an award show, exhibition, fashion show etc. As part of organizing an event theme for the event, plan logistics and send invites for the event being organized.

Eligibility Criteria for B.A in Event Management
1. Candidates who wish to secure admission in event management courses offered at colleges/universities at the UG level should have cleared their 10+2 from a recognised institute with a minimum aggregate of 45%.
2. Candidates from all streams are accepted.
Admission Process
1. Most of the colleges that provide event management courses do not require an entrance exam for admissions to the course since any subject's background, of course, can apply for this course of study.
2. Admissions are done on the basis of the results of the Class 12th exams through which a merit list is prepared. However some universities as a part of the selection procedure conduct aptitude tests.
3. Different colleges follow different criteria for the admission process. According to qualification i.e. either an Interview or a Group Discussion.

Event management offers a great career opportunity in the current scenario. Students' successful completion of the course will be able to demonstrate how to work within and lead a team, how to develop and progress business, how to implement change effectively and how to design and implement key policies in a range of event environments.
In this course students with creative thinking and strong leadership skills in order to coordinate teams that come together to accomplish a successful event.
